Jamaican Roots

(Hurricane Melissa Community Aid)

We have partnered with Jamaican Roots, whose food truck delivers food, water, clothing and rebuilding materials directly to families affected by Hurricane Melissa.

Much of the island is without power, internet, food, clean water, clothing, shoes, medication, personal hygiene products, farming and hardware supplies, furniture, school supplies and baby essentials. Your contribution will directly support the direct delivery of these essentials. Together, we can support our Jamaican kin to rebuild and thrive.

This effort was spearheaded by Orette Vaccianna, owner and founder of Jamaican Roots, LLC in Visalia, California. Vaccianna was born and raised in Grange Hill, Westmoreland, Jamaica and maintains a strong relationship to kin on the island.

Your support is a vital part of fostering resilience and opportunity for their community and loved ones. Join us in making an impact today.
